About
KidzArt offers visual arts activities that include summer camp sessions, camps and workshops, birthday parties, special programs, in-school field trips, and core school art programs. The program also offers Palette Up! adult events and virtual learning options, and provides all the materials needed for its activities.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
KidzArt offers creative programs for all ages, from Squiggles to Grins to SeniorzArt. Its multimedia programs are described as delivering more than just an art class. The curriculum is based on 30 years of experience supporting students of all abilities, including those who never considered themselves to be artistic, and introduces a personal “tool box” of creative skills that students use through an interactive format. Families can choose themed programs, and the program customizes corporate gatherings, scout badge events, home school programs, family nights out, and other special events. KidzArt comes to the host site with fun and educational creative programs and provides everything needed to offer an art education solution at a school. Palette Up! events invite participants to relax and enjoy a creative experience with friends, with all materials provided and no experience necessary. The program notes 20 years of teaching children worldwide and encourages parents to treat their child to a fun and educational experience.
KidzArt describes its mission by stating, “Our multimedia programs set us apart because we deliver MORE than just an art class.”
Testimonials include comments from participants and parents, such as, “I cannot believe I drew this!” from Rodney, age 9, and “I wholeheartedly endorse KidzArt as an art program that works,” from Ann Kalayjian, Principal at St. Patrick’s School in Marin County, CA. An artist age 83 shared, “I gave my last picture to my great granddaughter and she put MY picture on HER refrigerator.” A parent describing the Squiggles to Grins class said, “My husband and I love that there are original songs, stories, and poems that are themed to the art project. We love playing the song CD at home.” Helen, an Alzheimer’s patient and Merrill Gardens resident in Round Rock, said, “I never thought I could draw like this – I think it’s pretty darn good.”
